What separates a fence from a boundary?

A fence is wood and metal. A boundary is a statement about what matters to you. It says: this is mine, this is protected, this will endure. We build boundaries.

Built for San Diego Conditions

San Diego fence and gate projects need to handle coastal exposure, salt air, hillside and canyon lots, privacy expectations, security needs, and the design standards of high-end neighborhoods.

We plan materials around the actual site instead of treating every property the same. That can mean modern aluminum fencing for San Diego homes, custom steel fencing for San Diego properties, custom gates for San Diego properties, and fire-conscious material planning where the fence connects to structures or defensible-space zones.

These are the core service paths that should be easiest for homeowners, architects, builders, landscape designers, and estate managers to reach from the services hub.

"California doesn't forgive shortcuts. The sun, the salt, the Santa Anas, the fires—they expose every compromise. We don't make any."

Questions San Diego homeowners ask

Which fence material is best for San Diego homes?

It depends on the site. Aluminum is widely used for coastal exposure, pool zones, and fire-conscious areas because it is noncombustible and resists salt air well. Steel is selected when the project needs greater architectural mass, security, or estate-grade fabrication. Composite is selected for privacy with lower routine maintenance than wood. Hardwood (Ipe) is selected for natural-material privacy in lower-exposure zones. Block and gabion walls are selected for retention, sound buffering, or a fully solid perimeter. The right material is driven by exposure, code, design intent, and Zone 0 conditions.

Do you handle Zone 0 and fire-safe perimeter planning?

Yes. Many of our San Diego projects involve a noncombustible material strategy within the first five feet of a structure (Zone 0) plus a transition into Zone 1. We help interpret current AB 3074 guidance and any local AHJ requirements, and we plan material selection accordingly. See Zone 0 Fence and Gate Planning for details. Final compliance is always confirmed with the local jurisdiction.

What areas of San Diego do you serve?

Coastal, inland, and canyon-adjacent San Diego: Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, Del Mar, Coronado, Point Loma, Carmel Valley, Fairbanks Ranch, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Cardiff, Carlsbad, Poway, Scripps Ranch, 4S Ranch, and Escondido. We also work submarkets within these areas — see the local area pages for neighborhood specifics.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates are free. We typically respond to inquiries within two business days to schedule a site visit and walk through goals, materials, and constraints. Request an estimate.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. CSLB license #955154. Insurance and bonding documentation is available on request for any project.
